Our attention is to build a spa, having in mind great potential of Rovinj. We are considering peninsula of 100 acres south of Rovinj, spreading to south-west, fanlike "Cap Aureo" at specially protected location by the sea.

During the last 15 years, owner of this peninsula, having this project on his mind all the time, made paths and walkways, planted many trees and bushes accordingly to plan and created a natural park out of it. Evergreen forest, beautiful fresh meadows, paths by the sea and arbored paths provide pleasant walks and lead to spots with breathtaking views, and the sea is always within reach. Peninsula "Cap Aureo" is 20 minutes of walking from the town. It also takes about that time to came from the train station. Journey takes you through town and further, always along the coast, on lovely road with great view. In front of peninsula are Cissa islands, also a private property. Furthest and most beautiful island among them is "San Giovanni in Pelago" with rich vegetation, rocks grotesquely shaped and beautiful views, garmented with a small church with a thin belfry. On the side turned to the open sea is a cliff "San Giovanni in Pelago" – "St. John on the sea", with a light-house, the westernmost one in Istria.

From three isthmuses on peninsula, the one closest to Rovinj forms a shady hill with old stone pits. Rome and Venice used to dig stone from those pits for their palaces in the old days. Shady cliff "Monte Aureo" locally called "Montauro" is a "Golden Hill" that often sparkles as if covered with gold as the sun sets into the sea. This isthmus is called after it, "Monte Aureo", as well as little peninsula "Cap Aureo".

Limited liability company is planed to take over the construction of spa, arranging several hotels and villa complex according the plan. It could all be realized at once or first arrange one hotel and leave further development for later.

Spa is not meant to be luxurious. Buildings are to be built accordingly to highest standards of hygiene, airy and bright, furnished simply but nicely. This spa is not meant for sick people and people with difficulties. But those seeking peace and relaxation, far from city noise, from professional and social life will gladly come and fulfill their needs at "Cap Aureo" sunny coast of Istra, "LA COSTA DEL SOLE".
